Our day started with an inspiring and challenging devotion by Gunnar. He is one of the youngest members of the team (12???). He led devotions and had us all participate by reading scripture. We are sure he will be a pastor someday.
After breakfast the men got to work with the patio project while the women thoroughly cleaned the dining hall floor, chairs and tables and windows. It looks great. Elena had to attend a believer's baptism, thinking it would only be an hour. It was three hours!
After lunch we spent time sorting through all the toys, candy and other items we brought to give out to kids and adults at the feeding and medical programs. Thanks to everyone who helped out with donations. There was so much that Marykutty has enough to give children in villages where the Bible teams distribute Bibles.
The team walked to the local village with a bag of candy and had great fun giving candy out to the children. Then we visited one of the feeding programs. Randy, Gunnar and Isaiah had a blast giving out toys and candy. They also participated in filling the dinner plates for the kids.
Before dinner tonight, we invited our friend, Pastor Paul from Manipor, to give his testimony. What a humble man. I do not think any of us will forget his words.
Day is done, It was a good day.
